Well I'm not entirely sure about this gold scheme, but I've run a few test games with this deck and I'm liking the performance so far. Someone asked for a Spider deck and I've been working on this for a friend who was disappointed the only decent decks in EE were ninja, and monks which he had no interest in. I'm really excited about this format and the opportunities it can bring out in the game! I'd be happy to hear any feedback to help this deck improve!
Keep of the Dead BK BH
DYNASTY: Daigotsu's Guidance Formal Apology
3 Akodo's Grave 2 Bushi Dojo 3 Incense Mill 3 Prosperous Village 1 Purveyor of Questionable Goods 3 Remote Village 3 Shinomen Marsh
3 Daigotsu Bofana 3 Daigotsu Bukaro 1 Daigotsu Kanpeki 3 Daigotsu Kazuko 3 Daigotsu Kendo 3 Daigotsu Misaki 3 Daigotsu Negishi 1 Daigotsu Negishi XP 1 Daigotsu Takayasu XP
FATE: 3 Know No Fear 3 Retribution 3 Revenge 2 Stockpiled Resources 3 The Height of Courage 3 The Power of One 2 The Strength of the Spider 2 Unexpected Support 3 Unsafe Passage
3 Genji's Students 1 Goju House Guard 3 O-Yoroi Troops 3 Village Guardian 3 Village Raiders
1 Ancestral Sword of the Hantei
1 Ring of the Void 1 Ring of Water
Possibly removing one holding to add a 3rd Bushi Dojo? Also Have Akodo Regulars or Seppun Heavy Elite in mind for other followers to try out? But like I said feel free to offer any input! Anything you think could make this deck solid!

I think this is a solid start for sure!
I don't think you'll need a 3rd dojo. Ill have to peek at EE followers and get back to you but I see no problems with your lineup.
18 holdings seems like 3 too many, imo.
Have you considered importing Yoritomo Zinan? No honor requirement, 5F, naval, and he creates a fun card draw engine with village guardians - or screws with your opponens attachments.

thank you for posting the list! The funny thing is, I personally like ninjas and sohei the most out of all the themes Spider has got this ark. I guess there is no use argueing about taste...

I play Spider Ninja in regular EE so I hadn't really worked on of those yet. The basic principle is usually moving in without opposition using Help from the Shadows and A Brave New World. Since you lose half of your movement tech I'd be curious to see how they could still be played in this format but it's def something I will keep in mind as I play more Bushi.
As for monks, I've always been drawn to them but the appropriate cards were invested in my Dragon monks and Spider Ninja big attachment decks, so I've never gotten around to trying it out. One of the few other Spiders at my local store was trying to convince me monks would be better than ninja soon, so they have peaked my interest.

@ T pewpew Possibly removing 3 holdings to bring in Daigotsu Yamato, not a fan of brash but I like the idea of grabbing followers to take a province on a second front. Also interested in trading a set of holdings to add Diamond Mines to give more chances for an early 5 for 6? The card draw from Zitan is also tempting for that last personality spot.
