Hey folks! For those of you who are new to L5R, and first getting used to the game and/or setting by way of Bushi play (and, welcome, by the by), once upon a time in Rokugan there was a faction that was the equivalent of a Great Clan which represented the great and terrible things that lived in the Shadowlands outside the boundaries of Rokugan. The Horde received its own Stronghold that helped gather together Oni, Goblins, and Bloodspeakers under a banner devoted to Jigoku. That legacy lives on into Emperor Edition. Be forewarned, under standard Bushi rules there is no legal Stronghold for the so-called Horde. The direct to player set (Forgotten Legacy) included the stronghold The Forgotten Temple, which is the most natural home for the Horde. As a card from a dtp set, The Forgotten Temple is not Bushi legal. If you wish to use it, you will have to discuss as much with your local Bushi group. As with Ronin, since the Horde is unaligned, its Personalities have appeared in a number of different decks. Therefore, my set/rarity listings will be a bit general. I apologize for that oversight. I am not including Torn Asunder Personalities yet, as I am not yet certain of their Rarity. Chuda Niiro (EE) (C) (Shugenja) Chuda Seki (SoD) (C) (Shugenja) Gozaru no Oni (EoW) (U) (Nonhuman, Oni) Keppo (SC) (C) (Nonhuman, Goblin, Scout) Raido no Oni (BtD) (C) (Nonhuman, Oni) Sea Troll Predator (SC) (C) (Nonhuman, Earth, Tactician) Players interested in the might of the Shadowlands may want to cross-reference the Spider Clan, as they are one evolution of the Horde's tactics and a number of their members share the Shadowlands Taint.

I expect that the Red Hunger would be an MVP in any dedicated Bushi Horde deck, but since it isn't Shadowlands I figure it would probably more naturally fit into a Naga deck (you know, Snake people, snakes, same difference, right?).
But... the Naga are even less represented in Bushi than Ronin, so I didn't go there.
