Name- Michael Sturbaum
Location- Tacoma, WA
Clan- Crab (beserkers!)
History- I got started in L5R back in 2011, a couple of months after I left the army. Buddy stationed up here got me into it, taught me how to play, and helped me get started. Pretty much never looked back at that point. Fast foward to 2013, here I am helping build my local playgroup and I saw Hida Okami's posts on the crab forum about the bushi format and figure it would be something nifty to run for our current players and to help new players intrested in the game to jump in.

Hey man nice to have you here! Tacoma, eh? So you get to go to all the Koteis that Case plays? Stiff competition out that way! Bushi is a great alternative format - glad you are exploring it!

Thats the plan, trial by fire I guess! I am pretty psyched to do it, having our first bushi event the 16th. Since myself and my friends started working to rebuild our local group, we figured this would be a great way to do it and it has already started working, 3 new players this week alone!

Since myself and my friends started working to rebuild our local group, we figured this would be a great way to do it and it has already started working, 3 new players this week alone!
